How to Ask an Astrology Question That Gets a Useful Answer
A short worksheet for turning a vague worry into a specific question — good and bad question examples, and why specificity gets you a better reading.

Short answer
A specific question gets a specific answer. “What does my future hold?” invites a generic response almost by definition — there’s nothing concrete to reason from. “I have two job offers and I’m not sure which fits my situation” gives an answer something real to work with.
The difference in practice

Notice the specific versions all include: a real decision or situation, and what you’re actually trying to figure out — not just a topic.
A short worksheet
Before you send your question, it helps to have answers to:
- What’s the actual situation? (Not the topic — the specific thing happening.)
- What decision or concern is attached to it? A question with no decision behind it is hard to make useful.
- What have you already tried or been told? If someone gave you conflicting advice, say so — it changes what’s worth explaining.
- What would a useful answer let you actually do next?
You don’t need to answer all four perfectly — even a rough version of your situation is more useful than a topic alone.
How to tell a generic answer from a specific one
A generic answer could apply to almost anyone (broad statements about “growth” or “change” with no connection to what you asked). A specific answer refers back to the actual situation you described and explains its reasoning in terms of it — that connection is what to look for when judging whether a reading was actually useful.
